Once you arrive in Thompson Bay, exhale, then inhale the sweet fresh air and feel the worries of the world wash away.

Collect your e-bike and depart for the morning ride around half of the island, including the stunning West End. From this point on, the next landmass is Madagascar. Discover fascinating stories from the first time Willem De Vlamingh recorded its existence in the 1600’s, 150 years before Captain Cook “Discovers” Australia.

You will be sure to encounter the famous quokka as the happily live with humans around them. Gain an appreciation for the truly remarkable story of the marsupial and the “Biodiversity Hotspot” they live around.Be guided to many of the most picturesque locations - pause to appreciate the beauty. Every view is worthy of a photograph but feel free to jump into the ocean at any time and cool down as we are not in a rush. Ride to the highest point of the Island, Wadjemup and gaze across the Indian Ocean and views back to the “mainland”. Celebrate the Noongar spirit within the island, literally the resting place of their ancestors.

Relax and unwind with a long lunch of fresh gourmet dishes and drinks overlooking the turquoise waters. In the afternoon, be escorted to a secluded beach to enjoy the purifying qualities of the ocean. Snorkel the most southerly coral reefs in the world, wade in the shallows or lay on a towel and read a book.

See the Stromatolites – More than 3 billion years old and the earliest evidence of life on Earth, located in naturally occuring salt lakes. Your host will also recount the use in the 1800’s as an Aboriginal Prison, wartime military and the swinging era of liberal attitudes to sex, when Rottnest was budded “Isle of Girls”. Departure will be late and return you to the Perth mainland by 6pm (approx.)
