The Horrible History of Fremantle - a family tour for tweens & teens
- Duration: 2 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Fremantle, WA
- Product code: HHF1
A walking tour which explores the darker side of Fremantle with a sense of humour and whilst also bearing in mind the age of the audience.
Now a beautifully preserved port city, Fremantle wasn't always this way! Long before that occurred, colonial settlers, convicts and 10 pound 'Poms' arrived at what was then the wild wild west. Find out what happened as we guide you through the streets of Fremantle telling some of it's more hidden and darker moments in history in this family friendly tour adapted from our incredibly popular though adults only 'Crimes of Fremantle.'
Mutinies, deadly snakes and prison escapes - those who say Western Australia's history is boring haven't heard our version of events!
If it's hot, bring bathers and head down to Bathers Beach afterwards for fish & chips and a swim.
Starting at the Fremantle Train Station the tour is approximately 2 hours on mostly flat ground.
Bookings must contain at least 1 adult and 1 child. Not suitable for children under 10yrs old.
